For many families, this is a necessity, given the US’s growing cost-of-living challenges. Unfortunately, a lot of those caregivers are also struggling to balance their professional and personal lives.
A new survey from the Pew Research Center has shone a light on the challenges working parents face. According to the survey, parents want more flexibility in the workplace, and many of them simply don’t have access to the resources they need to maintain their work-life balance.
With these challenges, many parents have turned to gig work or remote jobs as a way to get the flexibility they need. But do these options really make it easier to balance work and family?
